I've spent my career building, leading, and governing mission-driven organizations through startup, scale, and change. Today I am the Deputy Executive Director of a global human rights and corporate accountability organization.

They are not just a means to an end. When they are effective, the organization itself becomes an expression of the mission and a stabilizing force in the community.

I believe business can be a force for good when it creates value responsibly, expands ownership, and remains accountable to the people and places it affects.
With community-rooted founders at the helm, business can go even further, connecting real problems with innovative solutions that push communities forward.

I believe the health of a community is shaped by its environment: the air we breathe, the water we touch, the land that feeds us, and the outdoor spaces where we play, gather, and wander.
What is outside should not harm us. It should bring joy, health, movement, and awe.
